Trade Advice

The QB's on my roster are Alex Smith and Matt Hasselbeck. (yeah i know)

The RB's on my roster are (we start 2) Matt Forte, Pierre Thomas, Jon Stewart, Danny Woodhead, Ladanian Tomlinson, Thomas Jones.


I was offered Ryan Fitzpatrick for Danny Woodhead.

What do you think? I basically play the match ups at RB2, is the gap between Fitzpatrick and Smith/Hasselbeck worth it?

Thats a really tough call. Forte is really your 1 RB. Then after that its a big guessing game. Depending on who gets the carries and what not. I personally think hasselbeck is useless fantasy wise. And smith is pretty bad as well. Fitzpatrick would be a significant upgrade in my opinion and i think they'll let him ride out the season and he might have a good where as hasselbeck has locker waiting in the wings and smith hasn't ever been worth while and nothing makes me think thats gonna change. I think woodhead is your #2 and J stew your #3 but it's hard to tell so early on. they're all gonna split carries. I would probably do it tho if i were you

Or even LT could still be good. He scored well last year (Well as in worth using in a 12 team league) and he should get the carries again. I'm a big LT fan tho so that might be more of a homer pick

I would do it.. Fitzpatrick isnt great, but he is better than the other two, and Woodhead plays an O that you never know what is going to happen. Also Woodhead isnt in at the goaline so he isnt going to get many touches there.

You team kinda sucks and your QB are bad ... woodhead will never be consistent as the Pats scheme based on opponent instead players.

Think about this ... Since week 3 of last year Fitz has the same or more TD than Manning, Rodgers, and a bunch of other QBs. His only down side his he is steaky but a lot of QBs are and the bills will be playing catch up all year and passing a lot.

Hasslebeck = garbage, drop for a RB/WR

Matt Forte = start
Pierre Thomas = start [he is still the man in NO, especially after ingram couldn't do it in goaline]
Jon Stewart = one injury away from stud and still goal line guy
Danny Woodhead - flex or bye replacement at best
Ladanian Tomlinson = on a run first team and going to get more carries and all 3rd down
Thomas Jones = maybe charles gets injured but I don't se KC running much this year ... in a few weeks Charles might not be a top 10 RB [has the skills but on crappy team]

Good point ... I was assuming since you had Hasselbeck and Smith there wasn't anyone avail.

All things considered I would prob still make the deal and wait for a good RB to pop up in FA but that is just me. A lot also depends on scoring.

go figure ... Fitz is trash today and Hasselbeck is a beast
